Who is TheoloGeekGurl
Hi there people from the internet,
My name is Carol Marie Underwood. I am obsessed with Science Fiction and it's interactions with Theology.
I like to write and muse on theology, ethics, creation, psychology and other such thoughts and things I have discovered while in Seminary.
On this page you can find my blog, sermons, and writings. They are all accessible from the tab above.
I like to think that juggling fire is a great analogy for the experiences many students endure in Seminary. This picture to the left is me at a local burn practicing for a Pentecost service. In Seminary, we are asked to discern not only abstract ideas, but to discern our very own personal faiths. These are the very building blocks of how we see and participate in the world. It is dangerous, but fulfilling knowing that we are (God willing) being equipped into our future vocations and ministries.
Please feel free to comment on any of the texts within. I love to learn something new.
