Hey there everyone! I'm sorry I have been gone so long, but as many people know when you finish grad school writing and reading purely towards your end goals kinda takes precedence. I finally made it as a graduate of Columbia Theological Seminary as a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Practical Theology. This means I will have much more time to update my blog! Huzzah! This also means I can work on doing some regular postings which I had originally intended with the genesis of this blog. I also will start making videos based on some ideas as they come up. But for the moment here are some upcoming things to look out for!
Here's what is coming up on tap:
Wednesdays Starting September 10th - Thursdays will be my theology days! I will be re-reading books from my seminary days and writing blogs on them on every thursday! They will be called my Thursdays with the Theologeek! Get excited we will be starting with Rowan Williams, Resurrection!
Saturdays Starting September 13th - Fridays will be my conversations regarding Science Fiction novels and/ or movies! I will be going through old and new favorite books and talking about their lovely geekdom while approaching it from a theological/philosophical/ethical view point. These will be called my Scifi Saturdays! Get excited with this one we will be starting with Philip K. Dick, The Minority Report!
Also soon enough I will be posting something in the next few days about my experiences at DragonCon! I was a volunteer this year for the Star Trek Track and it was a blast! I will be posting some pictures and primarily focusing on the Creatures Beyond Time and Space panel!
So many exclamation points so little time! It will be an exciting time coming up! I am so looking forward to the discussions that will arise. As always feel free to email me at [email protected]
